Oona Croese *

Oona Croese is a graduate of California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater as a Lew and Eddie Wasserman fellow.  Upon graduating, she was invited under full scholarship to be the inaugural student in the MFA Writing program where her original works "The Conditioned" and "Jezebelles!" premiered.

Her first screenplay "Rave" was produced by Twelve Corners Entertainment, premiered on "Showtime" and distributed through Warner Brothers Video.  Her second screenplay, "The Watermelon Heist" was commissioned by independent filmmaker KC Amos and starred Jon Amos, Corey Holcombe, and featured Rudy Ray Moore, distributed by Maverick Platinum.

Under her video production company RandomSenseless, she produced/directed videos for New York city based musicians including:  Sxip Shirey, the WIYOS, Lauren Ambrose and the Leisure Class and Chad Parks.

Her ad copy has appeared in Vogue, Self, O Magazine, Women's Wear Daily, and Real Simple.

Most recently, she was awarded a Big Apple Award for her work as a public school teacher at Brooklyn's Edward R. Murrow High School, where she has taught Theater - Mask Characterization, Film Studies, and English.
